About The Kelton Boell Project

The KB Project was created by Kelton Boell’s family following his passing, transforming their loss into a mission focused on helping others.

Today, the organization works to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention while supporting scholarships, community initiatives and causes connected to Kelton’s love of the outdoors.

As part of the Fusebox Gives Back program, Fusebox Marketing donated branding, website design and video services to The KB Project, a local nonprofit created in memory of Kelton Boell.

These assets gave the KB Project a way to share its story, communicate its purpose and introduce the organization to the community through a professional video created with its mission and message at the center.

Austin and Brooklyn were amazing! The website was so true to what we wanted, and they couldn’t have handled it better!

The Work

When Fusebox selected the organization for a Fusebox Gives Back project, the goal was about more than simply creating marketing materials. It was about helping a local family tell an important story and giving the organization professional tools it could use to build awareness and connect with its community.

That included creating a logo, designing a new website and producing video content that could help bring the KB Project’s story and purpose to life.

Giving a Meaningful Mission a Voice

For an organization built around a deeply personal story, video offered an opportunity to communicate something a website alone cannot always capture.

The Fusebox team developed video content focused on the purpose behind the KB Project, helping explain why the organization exists and what the family hopes to accomplish through its work.

Rather than creating a traditional promotional video, the focus was on storytelling, authenticity and awareness—giving viewers a better understanding of the people and purpose behind the organization.

The resulting video gives The KB Project a versatile marketing asset it can use across its website, social media, community outreach, fundraising efforts and other communications.

Creating a Video With a Purpose

The video was created to help The KB Project communicate its story in a way that feels personal and accessible. Key considerations:

The KB Project’s mission today includes youth mental health and suicide awareness, scholarships for trade school students, wildlife and DNR initiatives, and community programs.

Video That Keeps Working After the Project Ends

Unlike a campaign built around a specific advertising budget or conversion goal, this project was designed to give The KB Project a lasting marketing resource.

The video can be used wherever the organization needs to explain who it is, why it exists and how people can get involved. That flexibility is especially valuable for a growing nonprofit that needs to communicate its mission to different audiences.

The KB Project now uses its digital presence to encourage donations, promote events, connect people with resources, highlight scholarship opportunities and share ways the community can support its mission.

Measuring Impact Differently

This project wasn’t built around traditional campaign metrics.

Because the video was created as part of the Fusebox Gives Back initiative and was intended primarily as an awareness and storytelling asset, Fusebox did not track campaign-level performance data or attribute leads and conversions directly to the video.

Instead, the value of the project is in the marketing asset itself—giving a local organization professional video content it can use to tell its story, support its mission and connect with its community over time.

For Fusebox, that’s exactly what the Gives Back program is about: using our expertise to support organizations doing meaningful work in the communities we serve.

More Than a Marketing Project

The KB Project represents what can happen when creative services are used for something bigger than a traditional marketing campaign.

Through the Fusebox Gives Back program, we were able to provide a local family with the branding, website and video resources needed to establish and share their mission—helping them turn a personal loss into an ongoing effort to create awareness, support others and make a difference in their community.

The result wasn’t simply a video. It was another tool for the KB Project to carry Kelton’s legacy forward.

Tell Your Story With Video

Video doesn’t always need to be about clicks, conversions or immediate results. Sometimes, its most important job is simply to help people understand who you are, what you stand for, and why your work matters.

If your organization has a story worth telling, Fusebox can help you turn it into video content your audience can connect with.
