About Me:

Des Moines, born and raised! I told myself I was going to get out of here but somewhere along the line, I fell in love with it. And now here I am, 28 years later!

I’ve been leaning into my “granny era”, so I really enjoy knitting, bird watching, thrifting, gardening, and reading. To keep active, I enjoy biking, weightlifting, and walking!

I have a rescue dog named Zigman and a rescue parrot named Charlie! Before you ask- no, they don’t get along. But they don’t fight, either. They mostly just ignore each other! Zigman loves to lay at my feet while I’m working but Charlie demands to be on my shoulder, so he might make a few appearances in work meetings.

Why SEO:

I went to college to be a physical therapist, came out with a degree in marketing instead! I assumed I would be working on billboards and print ads but thanks to the internet, Digital marketing emerged. At first, I thought social media marketing was my calling because I enjoyed the creativity that goes along with making content. But the more I worked, the more I realized that the most exciting part of social media marketing was analyzing the data. My past few jobs allowed me to work on social media and SEO simultaneously, but I found myself drawn to SEO because it’s a perfect balance of analytical thinking and creativity (for me, anyway). That’s why I’m excited to be the SEO Specialist at Fusebox- I’ll get to focus all my efforts and nerd out about numbers!

I am most excited about getting to know all my new co-workers and getting to hyperfocus on SEO for our clients! I’m psyched about all the SEO opportunities out there and I want our clients to be excited, too!
